Climbing Formwork Systems

Climbing Formwork System is a system which provides a safe working environment in high buildings by moving it upwards in the vertical axis on wall surface. There is no need to disassemble the formwork. It is generally used in walls and columns which are too high to be poured by one time, and in the outward facing parts of the walls and columns of high-rise buildings. Thus, there is no need to install a very high scaffold for support under the formwork. It also provides a comfortable working area and allows workers to work safely; thus reduces labor time. The climbing system is generally used in the construction of structures such as dams, bridge legs, high retaining walls, multi-storey buildings, silos, stair walls, columns, chimneys, highway viaduct stands.

The system is connected to vertical surfaces by bolts and it is ensured that the formwork is safely climbed by crane. The system consists of a combination of very few materials. It creates large working areas.
